In addition to the marvelous route from the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, in Cusco, there are two must-see hikes that all tourists must take, such as the Siete Colores Mountain and Choquequirao. On the other hand, in Amazonas, you can have a direct contact with nature, getting to have a privileged view of the Gocta waterfall, one of the highest in the world.

Seven Colors Mountain

Located in the province of Quispicanchi, it is the fashionable attraction in Cusco. From the city of Cusco you must go by car to the town of Cusipata. The trip lasts three hours and follows the Cusco-Puno highway, from where you will start the journey. The trekking usually lasts between three and five hours, depending on the physical state of each person. Keep in mind that the entrance costs to this attraction there are rates for nationals and foreigners. There is also the possibility of part of the way on horseback.

Choquequirao

Kuélap

Located in the province of Luya, this archaeological site is one of the main attractions of Amazonas. During the walk you can see walls, alleys and friezes in the form of diamonds and zigzags. The route is accessible and will not demand so much effort. If it does not cause you to walk so much, you can take the cable car that will take you to the fortress in less time. Laguna 69

Located 96 km from the city of Huaraz, it is one of the main attractions of the Huascarán National Park, in the Ancash region. The route to reach this lagoon is of medium demand and usually takes between six and seven hours. The starting point is the Cebollapampa camp, at an altitude of 3,900 m.s. Your effort will be rewarded with a privileged view of turquoise waters.

Gocta Waterfall

At 771 meters, it is considered one of the highest waterfalls in the world. It is located 41 km from the city of Chachapoyas, in the hamlet of Cocachimba. From the farmhouse, start the trekking, which will take you from five to six hours (round trip). It is a route of medium difficulty and ideal to connect with nature. In the place you can also rent horses round trip.

It is a waterfall that is in the vicinity of the Peruvian villages of San Pablo, Cocachimba and La Coca, district of Valera, Bongará province, department of Amazonas.
